Connie has been in print media since 1981. Starting her career quite by accident at The Enterprise newspaper in Lexington Park, Maryland after applying for a reporter job post UW Madison and finding sales paid more. That theme continued throughout her career in media and she still loves the thrill of the sale. This spirit bode well when starting the FCM Solutions brand in 2015 with a signal advertiser and newspaper.

Connie remains a working revenue director for The Frederick News-Post and The Loudoun Times Mirror.  She also owns a horse stable in Berkely Springs WV. As a small business owner and newspaper manager she  has a foot in both camps and can understand the challenges that businesses and newspapers are facing today.
